“Over the past 5 weeks my brother Edward has left several letters all with the same General theme that he believed someone was following him.

The first letter did not raise any suspicion for Edward had always been a rather imaginative boy and still so now

March 19 1921

Dear Margret,

I am writing to inform you that I got mother and father to the house safely.

I know I might seem ignorant but I do so feel like somebody has been watching me the last couple days I’m sure it’s nothing however I felt as tho I needed to tell someone

Love Edward

After this letter there was at least one a week progressively getting stranger

I started to worry about him was someone actually watching him

That leads me to his most recent letter

April 15 1921

Dear Margret

I can’t handle it there here there watching me

Sometimes they even talk to me-

The rest of the paper was ripped it was at this point I realised something was very wrong and that officer is why I called you”
