POEM STARTER

Submitted by HardCoreWriter

‘If desires are a flame, then I am a wildfire.’

Use this line to inspire a poem or short story.

Fame

If there’s one thing I’ve got its money to my name

Driving down Boulevard, got lions to tame

And if desire’s a flame, then I am wildfire

Blazing seering hot, even the sunset’s got a view

All eyes on me buh-bye now

Too bad, boo-hoo

Mark it down a couple thousand dollars

New label to my name and a couple white collars

What else could you want

I’m not here to offer

No dice-rolls, no poker face

If love’s a game I’m here to play

Where’s my parade

Count me down like 3-2-1

Dancing to the music like I’m the chosen one

Got no sorrows can we call it done

Catch the first flight out

Like I’m on the run
