POEM STARTER
Write a poem that could be sung as a lullaby.
You could set it to the tune of an existing lullaby, or think up your own rhythm. Remember that lullabies are for children, and are ususally meant to be calming.
Child Of Mine
Inside you, the world swirled and shines
Mother Earth watches, her eyes ever benign
You am being born anew
Your heart, ever in bloom
Your life ebbs and flows
Ever growing, you am the rose
Armed with thorns, beauty at uour side
You deceive and attract, rid men of their pride
Carpe Diem
C’est la Vie,
Que cera cera,
Live life as you please
Come dear child
Into my arms
Child of woe
Child of mine
Sleep now, Your head filled with dreams
Where you run and play In lilac fields
Come into my arms, when the moon is in view
Child of love, honor what is due
