The innocent are often betrayed by the uncaring. Shot in the back with no chance to fight or defend themselves. Often times blank slates veiled as friends betray those who cannot fight. Predators who revel in the suffering and pointless squirming of their victims. When the innocent fight they sink deeper into the trap like the quicksand. They fall into the grasp of the reality of injustice and stare at the mask that covers indifference. Seeing no eyes and no soul, only a machine with the purpose to help themselves with no regard for the innocent. Many dream of a world where injustice is not an issue but those who can do something about injustice sit blankly complacent. Furthermore the idea of a world where injustice is not present is seen more so as a fairytale than an ideal and possible future. The very fact that injustice is seen as the reality and not a fixable problem is evident of a deep rooted flaw in the way people view the world around them.
