POEM STARTER

After The Storm

Using any form of poetry, write about an emotion as if it were a storm.

Storm Of Fear

Fear comes crashing in like a storm,

Breaking the silence, a chaotic swarm.

Dark clouds gather, heavy and dim,

Shadows stretch, where hopes grow slim.

Panic is a snowstorm, swirling and cold,

Blanketing thoughts, turning warm hearts to old.

Terror strikes like lightning, fierce and bright,

While the heart races, lost to the night.

Fright dances like shadows, flickering fast,

An echo of whispers from a haunting past.

But amidst the tempest, a flicker of light,

A whisper of courage, daring the night.
