POEM STARTER

Use the 'snowball technique' to write a poem, where the first line is one word long, the second line has two words, and so on.

Remember you do not have to 'build' on the first word - each line should use different words.

Anxiety Rising

Anxiety

Endless nerves

Hands trembling badly

Mind dashes and rushes

I can’t possibly think straight

Constant torture, caged in my brain

Trapped for forever and ever and ever

(Don’t know if anyone will know what I mean, but when I wrote the ‘forever and ever and ever’ part, I instantly thought about the Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses movie. The exact scene I’m referencing is when Rowena tries to curse Genevieve to dance forever. Just a random thought in my brain that I wanted to share.)

that’s an amazing way to describe anxiety! i feel like the thoughts being trapped is so true- you can’t stop thinking about a certain thing. Anyways amazing job!! Love the movie references
