The Mirror

I was just putting on my heart locket when I noticed something… My mirror was glaring at me! “Ever wondered how I felt?” my reflection asked mischievously. My eyes opened wide. “Yeah, I can talk. So can you. Do we get medals?” She said. I looked at her. I wanted to talk! I couldn’t. Why? “Oh, boohoo! You can’t talk. Never mind on the trophies!” She said rudely. Suddenly, she reached a hand out of the mirror. “That’s better!” She said. I tried to get out, but, I was paralyzed! She stepped out! She then put her hands in the air. I was confused, when suddenly I put my hands in the air! “Yessssssssss” she hissed. I opened my mouth and mouthed her words. What?! She then walked ou of the room. I walked into the mirror against my will!

My heart was beating fast. My reflection came back into my room, but instead of me walking out of the mirror, I hit a cold glass wall. My reflection explained, “You see, I have spent decades in that mirror. Today I got out. I will now live my life as you. It’s okay, I’ll make sure your life is horrible and you die miserable! When you have spent one year in that mirror you will become a pig, slave to your master. You will always be referred to as a thing, so I will call you “it” from now on.” I sobbed. No!

*One Year Later*

After a year of being called “it” by myself, Skyla, I was still upset for today. The mirror packaged me in a teeny tiny box, with only one small hole in it. That night, I grew smaller and smaller. I grew pinkish white fur. My nose got crinkled. My ears drooped down, and strangest of all, I wanted food. The only thought on my mind was food. A giant creature picked me up. “What a runt!” He said. He made me his slave, making me do all the work.
