Write a romantic story or poem that could be titled 'Dancing in the Rain'.
dancing in the rain
I want to fall in love
The kind where you talk for ages
But still feel butterflies after a while
The kind where it feels like you’re on a spotlight
And only he can see you shine
The kind where you cook together
Every Sunday night
And still argue about who will set the table
Getting into stupid fights
The kind where you dance without music
And you sing with no rhyme
Where you know each other so well
When both your parts collide
The kind where the three words
Are nothing but a whisper
But they echo like a shout
And you can’t imagine life without each other
The kind where you dress up to go out
But decide you want to cuddle
End up throwing popcorn at each other
And dreaming of a future
The kind where you dream of children
2 girls and maybe a boy
The kind of you’d live in
Writing lullabies
The kind where you fight till dawn
But you end up in each others arms
Because life without each other is meaningless
He’s the only reason I want to get back up again
The kind of love where you grow together
You water the seed, and nourish it through the years
And one day, it’ll bloom a flower,
A symbol of your love for each other
I want the kind of love where you go
Dancing in the rain
And he’ll smile at you and say
“My wife is insane”
And you will laugh with glee
Shouting as you twirl
But then you’ll pause and turn
And see him on one knee
Your breath will hitch
As the rain comes crashing down
And he will say words you don’t hear
Not a sound
You’ll regain you senses, tears running down your face
You’lll run and hug him, not a second to waste
You screech yes, and he will cry too
“I can wait to grow old with you”
