Sarah found herself in the most serene scene she’s had today which just so happens to be Christmas night. She gazed up at the moon perfectly framed naturally by the bare branches of a tree. It reminded her how nature will always take on beautiful forms of art wherever you look. For the first time today, she felt present, at ease, almost peaceful. And just like that, the moment is gone. She can feel an ominous feeling take over her surroundings like a hidden fog. The once star filled clear sky becomes consumed by thick smoke grey clouds. Instantly thrown from the hands of the darkness appears a hell hound. Eyes glaring red just a few feet to her left, all it needs is a few seconds to capture her attention and remind her that the world is just as made up of darkness as well as light. She accepted the dark gift, feeling a swirl and mix of uneasy feelings inside of her. She knew this was the price she owed in exchange for the power of darkness.
