I think of myself as a poet While others might not I know it I write everyday About the things do Whether it’s riding a canoe Or tying my shoe Riding a horse Or playing on a golf course Whether people like it or not I think of myself as a poet And I know it I love writing poems I would really like people to know em’ I love readings books They are like fish hooks They grab on to me And don’t let me flee I am a poet And I know it I love Edgar Allen Poe’s writings They are great site to see Especially when your trying to flee From the crowd of people Saying I’m not a poet in upheaval Yet no matter what they think I am a poet And I know it.
