Rain Led Me Back Home

Down in the dumps,

Constant throat lumps,

I walk down the street in thought.

Life in the droughts.

No downpour in days,

Deep in my dismays,

Just some gloom.

What in the future looms?

Thud! what?

The sky brightens the lot.

Boom!

It’s rainwater, this dryness sought.

The flush...

It’s arrived after a hard push!

The rain.

Rain, you were my wish.

I twirl in water and around I swish.

I spin in dance,

Up above I glance,

Unto the darken night.

I wished with might.

Here you are showering me.

You let luck with me, be.

You hydrate my curls.

Give me beauty in life’s hurdles.

In this pinkish dark,

I feel safety under an ark.

I run back home.

Warmth I search,

I seek to control the urge,

For in energy we surge.

To find repair with in reach.

The eclipsing of time,

So wonderous, so prime.

Unique days perceived to the eye.

Oh, moon tonight! Good bye.

Let me receive a lovely Good nite. 🌜
