The thumping of myself, inside a certain human body beats

Sometimes my arrhythmia skips, depending what he eats

Yummy fried chicken on the menu, always makes me work

Eating too much of that isn’t good, so now he is a real jerk

Now comes the pricy smokes, and that very cold icy beer

Once his nightly party is done, the sports is on we cheer

The next morning, I don’t feel so good, off to the doc we go

It’s seems after all the EKG’s and scans, my path has no flow

So after all the papers and forms, are done under the knife we are

Hopefully if I survive this, my human will rest and watch life from afar
