WRITING OBSTACLE
Craft a story where each sentence begins with the successive letter of the alphabet, starting with A.
The story can be about whatever you like, but try to make it coherent and logical as you carefully choose words to start each sentence.
Just Be You
Advice for the insecure
Be you
Call out to the world
“Differences are ok”
Especially when you
Follow your heart
Go for your dream
Help other people
Inspire
Just reach for the stars
Know your not alone
Let them say what they want to say
Many don’t understand
Never stop educating
Open up
Perservere
Quit hiding
Run out and
Say
“This is me”
Understand that there’s nothing you can do to change the real you
Value your differences
Wear your differences
Explore your differences
You are unique
Zoom into hiding, but to the real you
( I wrote this poem when I was in 7th grade. The current me (9th grade) is going through many problems with mental health, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and being insecure. I randomly found this poem today after the past seven weeks of being in mental hospitals and mental programs and it got me thinking that 7th grade me is right. You shouldn’t have to worry about others thoughts towards you or how to get up to par in the world of popularity. You just have to worry about yourself, your needs, wants, relationships, health, well being. You are all that matters. So if you are out there going through a similar situation like I am, listen to 7th grade me and know that your unique self matters and you are not alone.)
