Funny Dragon
I look out in the meadow, where wispy wildflowers sway and long grasses flutter.
A large, golden dragon jumps around, sniffing flowers and playing with fluttering butterflies.
He smiles and puffs steam of joy.
I stare in wonder and awe, and in slight confusion.
Briar notices and laughs. “Dragons really do exist, but they’re certainly not meant to be and terrifying, Delia.”
I nod my head.
Suddenly the dragon notices our presence and runs towards his owner like a happy puppy.
“Come here Aster!” Briar whistles.
Aster jumps with joy toward her owner, and nudges Briar with his large head.
“Aster this is Delia,” Briar says, pointing towards me.
Aster tilts his head curiously and then launches towards me and licks my face.
I laugh and laugh as Briar tries to stop Aster.
“You’re a funny thing, Aster,” I laugh.
