POEM STARTER
"Everything is just as it is meant to be."
Use this as the closing line of a poem in any style.
Everything Is Just As It Is Meant To Be
Why is the sky blue?
The grass green?
A banana crooked?
Why do we live?
I don’t know, but that’s the charm of it.
The wind cries my name, yet nobody feels scared.
Birds know their way home, yet they are called foolish.
Stars burn all day, yet the night is calm.
Maybe we don’t need to know everything.
Just living.
Existing.
Being.
Maybe beauty lies
not in knowing,
just in feeling.
In being.
Everything is just as it is meant to be.
Someday, we may wish
to be someone else—
someone better,
happier,
prettier.
Jealousy.
But what would the world be without you?
Everyone else is already taken.
Everything is just as it is meant to be.
You & me—
Just living.
Accepting.
Because what else could we do?
Everything is just as it is meant to be.
