Things have never been great in our lives

Rough upbringings, betrayal, death and lies

We thought we could cancel out the bad with love for each other

But the scars in our hearts would make one choose another

She chose death over me and our future together

When we were one gravity didn’t hold me down anymore it was her which I felt would last forever

Now my scars run deep like the ocean and my sorrow too much to bear and my time is running out

I find myself just like her choosing death hoping for things to be better and that we feel loved and cared about

In our next life I hope we forget the bad things so we will no longer be haunted

But I wonder if there will be times when I remember because some scars can never be forgotten
