The Flames Of Our Future

As she looked into his eyes,

She saw her future go up in flames.

It started as a small flicker,

Then they grew, got oxidized.

His eyes reflected,

A scarred image,

Of a young feminine girl.

Who’s heart was breaking,

As the moments flew by.

Tears started to come,

Face started to redden.

From a sad and scarred image,

Of a young feminine girl.

Who’s mind was being crazed,

As the moments flew by.

The boys face grew tender,

For he was sorry for her hurt,

But what would have helped,

Was a hug and well overdo kiss.

But he just stood there,

Apologizing lots.

“Don’t Worry,

Don’t worry,”

He’d make her worry.

“Everything will be better,”

He said with a stutter.

He’d make her better.

Better by making her realize,

Her mistakes and troubles,

We’re all because of his love,

That was never truly there,

Because he only ever saw,

A sad and scarred image,

Of a young feminine girl.
