The One That Got Away

No one ever wants to fall in love just to let them go. Kimberly and Kent met while she was in high school. Kimberly was 16 & Kent was turning 21. It was love at first sight. They couldn't get enough of each other so Kent went to ask Kimberly's dad for his blessing so they can get married & move together. With her dads blessing they ended up moving & little by little created their own little family. Suddenly the unexpected happened. Kent started showing signs of being bi polar & violent. He would drink & curse in front of their new born child, even actually hit Kimberly in front of their child. Kimberly had no other choice but to find a way to leave for not only her safety but her baby's safety. Just like that she packed her bags and walked away from the man she loved.
