The Coincidence
I was tied to a chair. It was dark. There was a girl in front of me, but I couldn’t make out her facial features. She had a gun and a knife in her pocket. “Well?” She said. “Any last words?” She asks.
I burst out laughing. She glares at me with the “don’t test me” eyes.
“Oh my god sorry I just found that really funny.” I said. “What’s so funny? I’m literally about to kill you. Is it because I’m a girl?” “No, not at all. It’s just that I’m usually the one asking if they have any last words. You see I am also a murderer.” I say.
“Wait, really?” She said. “Yeah, I can totally understand why you’re doing this.” I said. “Oh my god.” She said. “What?” I ask. She quickly opened the lights “JEROLD?!” She said. “WHAT? SAMANTHA?!” I said. “Yeah!” She said. We both burst out laughing.
We are partners in crime, and I was supposed to come to help her today. “Why didn’t you come?” She asked “Well, because SOMEONE tied me to a chair, which was quite an inconvenience.” I replied.
“Oh my god you are so dramatic I didn’t even tie it that tight.” She said. “Can you untie me then?” I ask.
“Sure.” She says. She frees me from the chair and we go kill a bunch of people. Then live happily ever after.
