Jeon sat on the floor, breathing heavily, clenching his trembling fingers into fists. Drops of blood slowly trickled down his knuckles, leaving scarlet marks on his skin. He had just broken a mirror, losing his temper. The shards reflected his face - cold, predatory, alien.

He hated that look.

But there, opposite him, kneeling, was Hyun. His bare feet touched the sharp edges of the glass, but he seemed not to notice. His hands slowly reached out to Jung, touching his face, running his fingers along his cheekbones.

"You're not a killer," Hyun's voice was hoarse, but firm.

Jeon chuckled, turning away.

"You don't know what I did."

"I know. And still...

A warm palm fell on his cheek, and Jeong finally forced himself to look into those brown eyes. They did not reflect fear. There was no disgust, horror, or hatred in them.

Only softness.

Only warmth.

"These eyes," Jeong whispered, barely moving his lips.

"What?"

"They do not belong to the killer."

Hyung smiled, bowing his head to him, and exhaled barely audibly:

"Then look into mine. I will keep you safe..."
