As the sun goes down to rest,

The moon rises up and hides the light.

With the night

The stars peacefully sit up there,

Illuminating the dark sky,

Making me wonder why,

Why would such a gorgeous sight

Spend its life

Shrouded in the night?

The answers were hidden in the stars above,

The ones that shine with hope and love,

They held deep within them

With the night comes darkness,

They bring light to other planets too,
