Sam
Bang.
Once, twice, three times. He fell.
Gunshots are like fireworks from hell.
I fall on my knees, I let the dam break
For all my despair could make the earth shake.
It’s over and done
Now he’s gone
Never again to see the beauty of dawn.
I’m shaking with fury, I’m teeming with rage,
He will forever be in death’s eternal cage.
Because of betrayal and lies,
And the sounds I despise.
Boom boom boom In quick succession
One year since I lost you A day I will never forget But everyone else has moved on And that makes me upset
You deserved more than the me that you got Your innocence occupies my despondent thoughts
A mothers love for her son will never fade So I’ll love you until the world melts away
You were perfect, and so depressingly young I hung my head all dressed in black as the choir sung A song of freedom and peace for all of eternity But I’m still selfishly wishing you had never left me
Bang times thR ee
i feel like someone sh0t Mee
Ten long ye ars since you’ve been gone
Sam my baby m y perfect Sam
StoLen right out OF my oblivious Ha nd
Life ISNT FAIR I’m crying now
If only you could make your way to me somehow
I think I’m coming as we speak
These poshital lihgts ar
blin ding meee…
I’m coming Sam
I’ll see you soon
After all this time
I will see y o u . . .
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

{A/N: the staggering of the stanzas and words and loss of grammar efficiency demonstrates the mother’s declining state of depression and grief for her son! It was on purpose.}
