Breathe deep.

I stre-ee-ee-eeetch my arms up. \./ I am a sunflower reaching for the sun.

“BEEP, BEEP”

I R<^><^><^>LLL forward, touching my pointed toes with my palms and my knees with my nose. I am a wave, washing over the early morning sands, rolling in on itself like a crashing hug.

SHHHRRRIIICK

My bed talks to me as I swing my feet over the side, lightly landing them on the floor. “Come back”, it says. “Slink back into my warm and gentle embrace.” I am tempted to listen.

BEEP, BEEP

But the world persists.

I click off my alarm.
