POEM STARTER
Write a poem where the first line of each stanza uses internal rhyme.
Internal rhyme is where words within the same line, or in the middle of different lines, rhyme with each other (not the last word of each line rhyming). e.g. 'I let you see a side of me that isn't seen often'.
now you have left
you remind me of the summer
it’s a bummer you had to leave
but i guess you have something better to do
i think i should too
moving on to better things
the weather changing among them
i let it come and go in waves
it’s true form never shows
so i’ll stay here in this season of eternity
waiting to find a reason to be
here now that you have left all alone
and i long to not feel small
