In another life
Our souls would intertwine,
Like blooming blush roses
Growing on an eternal vine.
In another life
Our hearts would synchronize,
Beating a song of cheery love;
A distinction not seen by the eyes.
In another life
Our love would be real;
I could feel your beating heart
And at last be miraculously healed!
In another life
You would love me,
But that is not this life
So I must set you free.
