As I walk
My shadow lingers
My presence stalks
With morbid fingers
I’m not to be seen
Even for a minute or two
They do call me the queen
Of being see-through
It’s not my fault they don’t see me
I’m just glad they don’t stare
They treat me so differently
When they don’t know I’m there
