Biblical Rage
"rage could never ruin women. It could only set us free. And I for one, was ready to be free." - E.L. Black in Rage Ruins Pretty Girls
I am from a man's limb, part of the source, dim.
Where men float, I swim. They eyed my whim.
Amazed by my flame, they wanted to be the same.
Suddenly it became a game of claim, one where I'm put to shame.
They blamed me for wanting to be more, all I wanted was to float.
Never granted access to the boat, So I wrote, I highlighted the quotes.
I only found asylum in paper. All their voices turned to vapor.
They said to protect yourself from the raper, never blaming him for taking her.
they said I was a faker, all because I wanted greater.
