This poem can be in any style and with any theme, but try to write in a genre that you wouldn't normally try.
Happiness
(For context, most of my recent poems are just sad)
Is this it?
Have I finally found what I’ve been looking for?
For… years…
She’s staring at me… waiting for a response to her confession…
And the crazy part is… this time I truly do love this person…
How do I even respond? I don’t even wear chapstick, kissing is out of the question…
In a meak voice, I just say “I’ve waited for so long for this moment…”
And I hug her.
Under this large tree,
My life has finally been rekindled.
The bubble of despair can no longer pop and kill me… anymore…
(How I wish this could happen to me— also, a guy I liked two years likes me NOW… and says explicit comments to me sometimes… and I don’t like him anymore man… 😔🙏)
