Try to make each entry build from the last to add to the storyline. If you switch perspective, make it clear that it's someone else's journal.

It feels like it slips threw my fingers
(I’ll have to imitate the singers)
Time is useless,
But when I need more I have less!
Oh no! Time is up!
I’ll have to back up…
