I will I will I will escape, Even when my mouth has tape. I will I will I can be brave, Even though I’ll be digging my grave.
My stubborn mind, Will surely make you laugh off your behind. For I will escape, Even when I’m in perfectly good shape.
I will escape, I’ll tell you why, It’s your love, That won’t let me fly.
This pleasant home, Binds me by chains. Not knowing why, It holds my pain.
You say you love me, And I know I know I know it’s true. But when you repeat it, You just make me blue.
If you love me, You’ll let me leave Not hold me tight For I am choking on this leash.
Your love blinds you. You pull and pull, But push me away. If this is love, I’ll never show mine on display.
Dear Fabiola, You just think your so funny, don’t you? I arrived at the airport just fine. Thank you for the first class tickets, they were really worth it. I entered the cab you had assigned for me and we went to the docks. Following your instructions I entered boat of the nice cab driver so he would take me to the awesome luxury on-sea hotel for the extended weekend holiday you had planned for me. Supposedly you told me that I was gonna enjoy some time with other random people. I want you to know I did not laugh at what you did. Why did you bring Tommy and Luca too? The next time I see you you’ll regret it.
Dear Amy, I don’t know what you’re talking about. We haven’t spoken in two months. Run. Leave. I don’t think this is right.
My parents helped me bury it in the backyard, but they didn’t know what was inside. I had written about the current historical events. You see, I love writing. I have been preparing this essay for about a year. I have been writing a little bit everyday. I’ll show you how to do it: First, research about the news from different points of views. Then, write a little entry each day, like a dairy. Explaining the news from the different points of view. After a year, you can collect all your entries and have a book! For future generations!
I ran. And I kept running. Running and running and running. I had started, the tears in my eyes had dried up, and the field had changed color. Wait a second, the grass had changed color! My eyes were playing tricks on me! It couldn’t be! I must have hit my head somewhere. I mean, I felt like I ran for hours, but it was only a couple of minutes.
A couple of minutes ago I ran out of the house, tears clogging my view, the sun on the horizon, waiting to meet a new day. I ran out onto the field trying to flee. I ran with no direction, no purpose. When I stopped I noticed the grass had changed purple! How was that possible? I turned around, and there was something there. A building, it looked like. It had been built with a checkered black and white brick pattern. I knew I was crazy, but I didn’t cared if I never went back. I approached the building, and peered inside. It had a staircase leading up and up and up, from the inside of the building came a pleasant welcoming aroma. You could hear the distant chirping of birds, and the music of nature. The air was warm and breezy. So peaceful and welcoming. I figured this must be wonderland. As I lifted one foot onto the bottom stair, a sound disturbed me. A ringing that cut off the sound of the birds. An alarm, wait, my alarm!
Suddenly, I woke up. Still laying inside my closet. I knew I had come back to reality, the cruel world was never escapable. I grabbed the closet door, knowing what waited for me on the other side. Wishing I could sleep forever. And I walked out. Not knowing if I would get to visit my own little world again.
I was having the worst day of my life! It seemed like it was never gonna end, and on top of that, I had a very bad headache. This one lady kept calling every half an hour to check if I was free, like, come on lady! Just take a hint! On top of that, my current client had moved all my appointments because… well, I messed up.
In short, she was chinese. She didn’t speak much english, and due to my asian appearance they paired me up with her. I mean, I knew some mandarin, but a toddler was better than me. And the most horrible thing happened, she started talking to me. In mandarin. I just nodded until she asked me a question which wasn’t a yes or no question. I muffled out some words, but she gestured me to talk louder. Big mistake. I started saying it again but she stopped me, and asked to repeat myself. This time I said it more slowly and confused. She paused me again and turned to her other chinese friend. She asked me to repeat myself, again. I was dumb enough to say it again, but this time both of the ladies were giggling. I just stopped and said……

As I was entering my porch some ominous feeling made me turn back. I nervously went to check the mailbox. She had the audacity to send another letter! Her letter read:
Dear Anastasia,
I sincerely hope this letter does NOT find you well, and I hope your new friends do the same thing to you you did to me. I will tolerate speaking to you when I need something, and that’s it. Remember to write back with your part of the project because I’m not doing everything for you. You can’t use me, again. And…..
(To be continued, I need more time)
“You’d have to be an absolute fool to believe that!” Casey shrieked, but Blake wouldn’t hear it. He was going around the table with with his hands over his ears. Casey pulled on his dark grey tank top with her freshly done nails, and ripped it. Revealing the lean muscles of the chess captain. I know right? Chess nerd with an obviously popular, clearly beautiful girl? That’s what Blake was thinking, and his girl best friend, Bianca, had confirmed it. Bianca had told him that she heard Casey’s dance freaks talking about the dare, but that’s not the point. I knew about the dare. What happened next was what truly made me hate the guts out of Casey…
