Some Laughs Can’t Be Heard

I am thrown back to the side,

Dust and shadows

Like some disposable cup,

I am forgotten

Oil paint chips as I cry,

I wanted a hand that cared

Good luck to that green solider,

Last seen in may

And wishes to dinosaurs,

The plastic ones

I can’t meet my fabric friends;

My limp shoulder mutes my face

Forgiving my destiny,

A new stone turned

Warmly, it sits in my chest,

The feeling grows

Awaiting for a new kid

A garage sale takes me home

Surfing the endless summer,

Child like wonder

A sweet factory of games,

Please never end

Although I know it will soon,

A child’s laugh removes the gloom from mine
