POEM STARTER
The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; a place once so magical now hurt to behold.
Write a rhyming poem that ends with this line.
Growing up
The sky seemed so large
When I was but a child
The world was my playground
Young,free,wild
The orb of the night
Waxes and wanes
And with each passing year
Things are no longer the same
Time flies
Slips between my fingers
What is normal now
Was once a childish wonder
The stars glitter in the sky
Giant constellations, a prize
They shimmer and sparkle
As if mocking my cries
The sky full of stars
Seemed dead and cold
A place once so magical
Now hurt to behold
