POEM STARTER
The Revelation
Write a poem with a structured rhyme scheme, using this as the title.
The Revelation
I crept so silently through the house
A rickety old building I dare called home
My love for it has since turned cold
For the walls kept watch of my movements all
From down to dusk
From moonrise to sundrop
The walls refused to quite themselves
As they whisper the words my mother would tell
But the doors are wide open
I rush pass the curtains
Finally the moon shines it’s light above me
Crisp cool air lures me away
I welcome the outside world to lead me astray
