Waves
Gentle waves
Caress my feet
I could stay here forever
No more
Schoolwork or
Family or
Friends
Just
Sky
And water
And sand
Just one moment
To breathe
Let my racing head stop
Not because it’s hit the finish line, no
This isn’t the end yet
But maybe it found a beach
With gentle waves
As well
To sit by.
