WRITING OBSTACLE
Demonstrate. Incapacitate. Solidify.
In a story of no more than 10 sentences, use these three words in any order. The point is to create a story line that allows you to link them all naturally, without forcing them into random places.
Legend At A Cost
Walking through the crime scene, the rookie is looking a little green. I pull out the evidence bag and gloves to begin collecting the remains. “Don’t stand their princess, get down here and get your hands dirty!” The rookie slowly bends down closer the gore. Too engrossed in the wretch scene, he failed to hear the footsteps behind him. In swift movement the killer with surgical precision, slices through the rookies neck adding his head to the bloody mess. With relief, I rise to my feet, take the payment and walk off. This is the end. I am now free from the servitude of this black soul!
