Couldn’t Stay Away
What did you do?
Look what you’ve done!
What did you do?
You’ve ruined the fun!
What did you do?
Why did you come?
Now the parties over it’s through and it’s done and it’s all because of you and the mess that you’ve made.
I don’t understand why you couldn’t stay away.
You’ve upset him! Your son! You made him cry!
Why couldn’t you just stay away?
You’ve ruined his special day!
Tarnished his eighth birthday and all because you couldn’t stay sober, all because you couldn’t stay away.
