for whatever stupid reasons you may have

then somehow we’ll be brought together

I don’t know if I like you or not

but I think I could

maybe

if one day I could

then one day I will

and one day we’ll be okay

together

we’ll be okay together

and everything will feel okay

because you would actually like me

somehow you would

and I would like you too

but only if any of this is true

only if you actually do like me

and even if you don’t

that’s fine

because I don’t like you either

not like that

at least not right now

but who knows what life has in store for us

maybe everything will change
