we were taught to not use our voice

like we didn’t have a choice

we were taught we are too distracting

for all we are doing is standing

we were taught to be in the kitchen

and don’t forget to raise the children

we were told we are less than man

that we wish we can do the things men can

we were taught we are nothing

but we deserve to be something

we deserve to live our lives the way we want

not the life we were taught

we need to take our voice back

our life back on track

we are worth more than they think

I will show them who is the weakest link

I am a women

and that doesn’t make me a villain
