Lunch

My loving mate, had privately decided to buy us some lunch

Such a nice surprise from him, was it lobster said my hunch

Off to the seafood market he went, with Bob the dog asleep in back

Picking up two, hefty yummy lobster rolls and wrapped up in a pack

Thinking about some delicious farm corn, he stopped for a minute of five

Buying the corn, and noticing the homemade honey and the bees in hive

Getting back in the quiet truck, with odor of the food and mayo could it be

The once rolls, at the price of thirty bucks each, was all over the seat I see

“”What did you do?”

Guilty Bob dog hid his crustacean filled face, and tried to look away and hide

As I cleaned and picked up the left over meal, the dog wouldn’t show he tried

“”What did you do?”

I asked him a second time, as he quickly ate the bag of potato chips too

The bag of corn, was safely packed away away from junkyard dog who

That night as my mate, got ready to eat the last two homemade cookies do

Bob the dog reached up, and grabbed the bag and walked away from you

“”What did you do?”
