I finally decided to leave it all behind,

It was no longer worth my time.

The ache I feel inside,

Will hopefully soon subside.

The wind blows through my hair,

As I stare down at the sea.

Ocean spray sprinkles my face,

Soon I will be free.

I take a step forward,

One step closer to the edge.

I’m finally going to do it,

Gonna jump right off this ledge.
