It’s impossible ugly this sweater

But I wear it today

No matter the weather

I have others to wear

And this one I hate

But I guess it’s fair

Though it’s a heavy weight

The sweaters not mine

My sister lets me wear it

And she says it fine

But I just can’t bear it

It looks inside out

And scratchy too

But there’s no other route

Except the truth

I hate it I wished I’d said

But I have school today

And they said we must wear red

So I guess I’ll wear it anyway
