Da Vinci’s A Fake? (and a murderer??)

“Do you remember when you were a child, whether you were good or bad at painting?

__

_Of course, when I was 8, I wasn’t as great as the prodigy who _actually painted the Mona Lisa.

__

_Yes, you heard that right. _

__

Leonardo da Vinci, in fact, did not paint our famous portrait. Rather, it was an 8-year-old prodigy, just trying to make a name for herself.

__

Her name was Vannea Poverelli. She was close to the real Mona Lisa, the person behind the portrait. Mona Lisa, when seeing her portrait, had refused to believe this 8 year old painted it.

__

It was just too good.

__

_When she reported it to her dear friend Leonardo da Vinci, he was repulsed by the 8 year old, for unnameable reasons. Obviously he had wondered, _How did such a child become better than I? **** ****

What seemed to be innocent, a man of great skill ‘mentoring’ a prodigy, turned out to be so much worse. Days after this prodigy began her journey of learning, she had been found with no pulse and a rather large bruise on the back of her head. Da Vinci was, surprisingly, not a suspect, even as he stole her precious painting.

__

_Historians, specifically a descendant of _Mr. da Vinci, have found a journal of these events. After scanning several of his signatures, they can conclude this journal was indeed written by our famous artist. To quote Leonardo, ‘Framing a little girl’s death may seem to be rather difficult or shameful, but when you consider my career, no shame should be taken.’

__

So someone you looked up to, might be even worse than you thought.

__

This is Ainsley Decoralatchi, making it known that not all who are famous deserve to be.

__

__

(this was so freaking fun to write for no reason at all. I might write more reports by this Decoralatchi lady. also, none of this is true.)
