Spring Cleaning.
Fall is a colorful time,
Winter fills my heart with grime,
Then itβs spring cleaning.
The sun exists only with summer laughter,
Because my heart feels so cold and grey after,
Then itβs spring cleaning.
Autumn makes me feel like orange glitter,
Yet the later chill makes me bitter,
Then itβs finally spring cleaning.
Summer flies by like a heated breeze,
Chill air arrives quick with such unease,
But it will soon be time for spring cleaning.
The autumnal leaves flutter down low,
Only to be forgotten in snow,
And I pray for spring cleaning.
Summer has ignored my pleas,
Leaving me with the dead trees,
I beg for the warmth of spring cleaning,
Scrubbing the hardships and suffer away,
So once more, joy and peace could briefly stay,
Winter is icing my smiles in its frost,
Why wonβt spring cleaning come around today?
(Idk if this even fits the prompt but oh well)
