"A Life Unsung: A Tale of Disillusionment"

My name is Althea, I'm 14 and my parents are wizards, they're all sharing the magic, teaching me how to cast a spell, and how to be like them. And in all honesty, i want to be, truly.

my parents have always been a great influence on me and I'm not sure what i'd be if they wern't here for me. This summer, me and my brother, Darian, are being sent to "Moonstone Manor: Academy of Arcane Arts and Spellcraft", a camp, much like camp halfblood from the Percy Jackson series, where we are protected, taught to do magic, as well as control it. I'm excited, as i have heard nothing but amazing things about the infamous camp.Though, over time, the longer I stay at camp, Darian and me learn everything we needed to know, and though we are quite good, we aren't treated as so, we are the only new camper, the only new witches and wizards, so we are not nearly as talented as our fellow campers, they make fun of us, asking if we need help when we did something just as well as, if not better than them. Eventually, the summer comes to an end and we are picked up by our parents. I pack up my bags, and Darian, in his own cabin, does the same. as we close our suitcases, and walk out the door. we take one last look at the infamous camp that somehow, after dreaming about it for many years, let us down. disappointment. Starting to drive away with our parents and trying to push down our very obvious disappointment. Maybe the next camp will be better. I never belonged here anyway.
