Carrie had grown up loving science fiction especially ones about time travel.

Carrie trained to be a scientist and inventor.

After years of many failures, Carrie and her co-inventor named Leonard cracked the code. Together they traveled back to what they thought was a simpler time.

Upon a their arrival, the were walking the streets looking for rooms for rent. A very strange man and his man servant bumped into them. The man looked like a Picasso painting come to life. Afterwards, the very strange man looked at them like he recognized them. Carrie felt like he knew their secret by the way he looked at Leonard and her.

The pair made an inquiry of a passerby who that gentleman was. They were told his name was Harris.

One day Carrie caught Harris’ man’s servant following her when she was on her way to the rooms. She quickly changed paths to lead him astray and went into a church to pray.

A vicar came up to Carrie and asked if he could help. While not explaining she was a time traveler, she spoke of Harris and his servant that was following her.

They prayer together. He offered to check and see if man still outside. When the vicar went to look there were strangely dress men on all four corners. He offered her sanctuary. She stayed for hours until the another.vicar brought Leonard to her aid. All the men on the four corners had left an hour before. Leonard and Carrie borrowed a monks robe to get them both home safely.

Upon returning their rooms, they decided it was safer to return back to their own time.

Little did they know that Harris was hiding in the one of their rooms.

When they used the time machine, all occupants were transported. In their return they had released a very bad man upon their time. A very ancient evil man. One that only came to life upon their arrival to venture to the future. His sleep was over.
