POEM STARTER
Write a series of three haikus about different aspects of something you love.
Haikus have the syllabic form of 5, 7, 5 syllables per line. Consider how you could use multiple Haiku to create a three-dimensional portrait of your chosen thing.

Listen to the beat,
The sound of the drums going
Ba-bum, endlessly.
The lyrics I can
Relate to on a level
So new and special.
Trumpets, saxophones,
They are now part of metal,
And they belong there.
