It used to be easier to forgive than forget The times when I was younger The hurts only left a dent Now I face adulthood Broken hearts and grief And then I realize forgiving is another feat

Great job with this poem - I thought it was a great way of representing an idea that we’ve all faced - well done!

I think your pacing is - for the most part - really good. Only the first line stands out to me as being out out sync with the rest - maybe it could be shortened to:

‘It used to be easier to forgive than forget.’
