Murder The Perfect

The smile disappeared, from her red puckered lips

Her body was perfect, holster hitched at her hips

Her target was obviously, a lost forgotten lover

She stayed hidden, like a detective under cover

She grins as she sips, her tasty glass of red wine

He should be arriving, by now watching the time

The creaking of the painted, flower covered gate

Reminds me that time is moving, not to be late

The hair of curl, and the beautiful white of gown

He thinks it’s date time, we’re going about town

He meets her at the front door, suit and even a tie

Sexy and marvelous is he, makes me want to cry

I must think about this, over and over again today

My mind and body are fighting, my lover will play

I don’t really want to hurt him, my heart tells me so

Let’s put the holster away, perfect murder I say no
