Birds in many senses are very similar to humans

Locked in a cage you would scream and holler and try to break out

I know why the caged bird sings

It sings to let the world knows it’s there

To ask for help out

They flap their wings in an effort to break the cage

But the cage is always stronger

And you will soon lie on the ground in defeat

To tired to keep your eyes open and too scared to let yourself fall asleep
