Beyond the maps, Where legends dwell, I ventured into the unknown, Where the maps ends The adventure starts No clue when it began No sign of when it will stop
Beyond the maps, Adventure waits Beyond the maps, Legends in the making, Won’t let them wait, The beginning is starting
No clue when it began No sign of when it will stop
If I count the ways I love you there wouldn’t be enough pages. There wouldn’t be enough time in the world to count all the ways I love you. There wouldn’t be enough room to fill the biggest space. If I count the ways I love you I would never stop, it would go on and on and on until i realized. I realized I made you up I never actually loved you
I hate this argument It feels like I’m drowning in sadness It’s not even about me
He can’t get into university Don’t say that But it’s true We need to lift him up He needs to wake up
This stupid argument I’ve been working towards a goal for years While you’ve been swimming around in the dark
This was my dream. To win. My bakery was at stake and I have everything to lose. I didn’t realize that meant my heart as well. Justin was a an Italian baker who had recently opened a shop a town over from mine. It was destiny some would say that we would not only be competing for costumers but also 1000 dollars in prize money. The thing is I have never met him before only heard his name and the awe that comes from his baking skills. I come up to the competition ready to beat the renounced baker only to find a modest man who also has his bakery on the line. And he is also good looking?
The flowers from the trees above us flutter and swirl to the ground as me and my horse walk through the narrow trail. I look back. The Black Forest looms behind me reminding me of the horrors we had just endured. I turn back around and walk farther towards the castle ruins in the distance. The castle was abandoned years ago when the lands changed. The castle was now on a large cliff over a raging river and the only way through was the dark forest with its writhing branches and beasts that could send you nightmares without touching you. Before the forest could grow to much the whole kingdom uprooted and moved to a new place. The place I grew up. We eventually reached the castle, the ghosts whispered in my ear and blew the trees around me so the were leaning on their sides. Raven my horse neighed and tried to shy away from the trees closing in on either side. After our journey through the forest she was shook and could not stop the trembling. I pulled her on, whispering into her ear as we went. We reached the archway, the runes engraved on were barely legible due to the erosion of the rock. I stepped through the archway and the whole world flipped.
Birds in many senses are very similar to humans Locked in a cage you would scream and holler and try to break out I know why the caged bird sings It sings to let the world knows it’s there To ask for help out They flap their wings in an effort to break the cage But the cage is always stronger And you will soon lie on the ground in defeat To tired to keep your eyes open and too scared to let yourself fall asleep I know why the caged bird sings
“……within ten metres. If you see this girl using the description provided by the family be sure to call the number shown below as soon as possible and contact the missing person bureau” I drowned out the mumble of the tv as I tried to read my book. My parents insisted on watching the news everyday and since our house was so small no matter where I was I could hear the tv. The door bell rang bringing a groan from my lips. “Honey get the door please,” my mum called from the family room. I pushed my self up from where I was sitting on a chair.
The door opened and inside the house stood a red headed girl with freckles upon freckles covering her face, she looked extremely annoyed until she saw my face. I already knew what was going through her head. We were a mirror image down to the last freckle. Before I came here I had been researching for months or what felt like months until I found my real family and my twin sister.
My minds spins. I am surrounded by people and I feel myself spinning around and around getting more and more dizzy.
A hand grabs my upper arm, I know the hand. I let myself be pulled by them through the mass of people and out, out until I am no longer surrounded by people and I can finally breathe.
My feet bound against the ground the feeling reverberated through my body. My chest started heaving and my heart thumped trying to leave my chest. The sound of fast feet running behind me sends me into a sprint as I run through the dark alley. I quickly turn into another alley, I hid behind a garbage bin so I couldn’t be seen. My head was pounding, I could feel my blood flowing through my body and my heart pattering in my chest. Fear coursed through me like it was blood and I felt time slowing down. I heard the drip of water and as the seconds ticked by the sound grew to a roar in my head.
Suddenly the sound of running feet came up to the alley that I was hiding in. I held my breath, pulling my legs in closer to my chest. Please I thought don’t see me
The foot steps pass and I wait until I can’t hear them anymore. Once I can’t hear them anymore I breathe out. A sack is dropped over my head and I feel my hands being tied. I scream and struggle but there is nothing I can do.
